What is a MakerBot?

It is a 3D-printer, unlike any other. It is completely Open Source, the software source code and the hardware plans are free on the web.

What does it print?

It prints 3-dimensional objects with ABS plastic (The same as LEGO bricks). The maximum size is 10 x 10 x 13 cm.

What is Manufaktur Eins?

A fancy name* for our three persons team. We bought a MakerBot construction kit and will assemble and print together.
